Isabella, from ACU

As a ACU student, one of my subject requirements was to participate in a community service placement for a certain number of hours. As I was searching for a placement, Easy Care Gardening popped up and interested me straight away. I have never had any experience gardening, and was certainly not prepared for what was about to come, but the amazing team that I was working with every week, were extremely helpful as they educated me about gardening facts I never even knew. It surprised me how much fun gardening can actually be, being outside all day, around nature, helping those who are unable to help themselves, makes the job so much more worth it and rewarding as well. Becoming a volunteer at Easy Care Gardening has been one of the best experiences I have ever come across. Who knew gardening can be such hard but fun work?”
