Community Assist Lawn Mowing is a project of Easy Care Gardening.
Easy Care Gardening sort funding for the subsidised lawn mowing service in 2001. The service commenced in the
2002-2003 financial year.
Our organisation is community-based. We provide subsidised lawn mowing for the frail, aged and
disabled pensioners. Our service is means tested.
Our aim in doing this is so that those particular groups in society are able to maintain their independence and
stay in their homes longer.

To support the frail, aged and the disabled and their carers, by helping them maintain their
independence and the freedom that comes from controlling their own lives.

To help the frail, aged and the disabled to stay in their own homes longer by providing a
subsidised lawn mowing service. Without this service these people are at risk of premature or inappropriate
institutionalisation.

To provide help to those in need, either directly through this service or by referral to other
organisations.
|
|
To work in close liaison with other community service organisations.
